Camping in WoW Forever
Updated 2026-09-16
Camping turns a Cooking fire into a shared stop along your journey. Players can sit down, collect benefits, and contribute profession objects before heading back into the world.
Build your campsite
A Basic Campfire holds three crafted objects. Nearby players can each contribute one object, and these objects share a one-hour cooldown. Cooking also offers upgraded campfires with five or ten object slots.
The capacity belongs to the campsite; it is not an invitation for one player to fill every slot. Coordinate with nearby players so each contribution brings something useful.
Choose a contribution
| Your profession | Example object | What it provides |
|---|---|---|
| Blacksmithing | Sharpening Wheel | Attack Power benefit |
| Tailoring | Faction Banner | Spirit benefit |
| Herbalism | Incense Candle | Intellect benefit |
| Alchemy | Alchemy Lab | Profession workspace |
| Leatherworking | Tanning Rack | Workspace for advanced recipes |
Receive the benefits
Sit by the fire and rest briefly to receive campsite buffs, which last one hour. Camps can also provide practical services such as repairs, vendors, and profession workspaces. Refresh food benefits while the group is resting.
Check your existing class buffs before choosing a contribution: the corresponding camping versions do not stack. Read the buff interaction guide.
Learn more objects
Introductory profession objects are learned at skill 20 through profession trainers or NPCs who introduce camping. Advanced objects come from Blueprint recipes associated with dungeon bosses. This gives profession progression and dungeon exploration a shared purpose.
