Professions have a visible role in WoW Forever’s outdoor world. Your contribution can help an entire campsite, while advanced recipes give dungeon exploration another connection to crafting.
Choose by the job you enjoy
The profession examples below describe concrete camping contributions. They are useful starting points for planning with friends, rather than a ranking of which profession everyone should choose.
| Profession | Camping connection |
|---|---|
| Blacksmithing | Sharpening Wheel and Attack Power |
| Tailoring | Faction Banner and Spirit |
| Herbalism | Incense Candle and Intellect |
| Alchemy | Alchemy Lab workspace |
| Leatherworking | Tanning Rack for advanced recipes |
| Cooking | Campfire capacity and updated food |
Start with introductory objects
The first camping objects arrive at profession skill 20 and are taught by profession trainers or camping introduction NPCs. Each profession has three objects learned at different skill levels, while its underlying buff or utility stays tied to the profession.
Progress into blueprints
Advanced campsite objects use Blueprint recipes obtained from specific dungeon bosses. Learning a new blueprint can expand what you contribute at a camp. Check a recipe’s requirements before organizing a crafting session: a Tanning Rack, for example, is part of the workflow for advanced Leatherworking recipes.
Cooking supports the whole camp
A Basic Campfire has three object slots. Upgraded fires can hold five or ten. Crafted food also receives updated stat benefits and a small experience bonus, making rest stops a natural moment to prepare for the next stretch of leveling.
Coordinate with friends
Discuss your contributions before placing objects. Campsite buffs can overlap with class buffs, and each player contributes one object. A varied set of professions creates more useful choices than repeatedly adding the same benefit.
Browse camping objects and read the stacking rules.
